When? 23rd September 2006, Where? Trinity Home PJ
What? The launch & art competition for “Listen The World Has A Story to Tell”
Guests and members got together with the kids for a fun afternoon filled with story telling, games, an art competition and a messy handpainted banner-making.
The reason? The launch and first phase of our International Community Service Project “Listen, the world has a story to tell”. Basically we will be joining forces with a couple of Rotaract Clubs around the world to collect children’s fairytales. These tales will be compiled (so far we have entries from Phillipines, Egypt, India, Guatemala, Malaysia, Japan, Nepal) into a book and sold to raise funds for the purpose of supporting the educational/literacy needs of a children’s home.
